Hi, I’m Anna.
I am so glad you’re here!
I am a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN), and after years of working in clinical nutrition, I know that nutrition information and diet change can be overwhelming. There is so much diet information available to you, and a lot of it is overly-restrictive and conflicting.
I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease when I was in college. At the time I was diagnosed my doctor said that I would need to eliminate gluten from my diet, but I was not given any information on how to accomplish that. Thankfully, my mom had already switched to a gluten-free diet and I was studying nutrition so I knew what to do, but that experience stuck with me. It’s one of the reasons I am passionate about nutrition counseling.
Whether you are looking to stop dieting and start enjoying food again or you need to make changes for a specific medical diagnosis, I am here to help you! I am here to dispel diet culture, help you understand food & nutrition, and teach you how to eat for your medical diagnosis without restriction.

My Approach
You’ve probably heard the popular concept that food is fuel for the body and I agree that a nourishing diet is important to support our energy and our health. I also believe that food is so much more than just fuel. Food is also a way to connect with others, celebrate, and remember where we come from. When we label foods as “good” or “bad”, or when we are hyper-focused on losing weight it creates unnecessary stress around eating and can suck the joy out of food.
After working in clinical nutrition for several years, I also know that receiving a medical diagnosis that requires diet change can be overwhelming and disappointing. You may feel like you will never be able to enjoy your favorite foods again, but this does not have to be the case.
I am here to help uncomplicate nutrition and diet.
For those who are looking to manage a medical condition, I provide one-on-one medical nutrition therapy and nutrition counseling through an intuitive eating lens. I want to help you manage your health conditions without feeling confused or restricted.
For those who want to ditch dieting for good and learn to nourish themselves well, I created The Food Freedom Club (FFC). The Food Freedom club is a 9 week group nutrition counseling program to teach you everything you need to know about nutrition and how to make it work for you.
I believe that you can do what’s best for your health and still enjoy food!
What is Medical Nutrition therapy?
Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) is evidence-based nutrition treatment provided by a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN). MNT includes nutrition assessment, counseling, and ongoing management of specific medical conditions through dietary changes.
What is INTUITIVE Eating?
Intuitive Eating is an anti-diet framework for nutrition that promotes a healthy outlook on food and body image. Intuitive Eating focuses on honoring your hunger and satiety cues and gets rid of restrictive diets and the idea that foods are “good” or “bad”.
